Nicholas Mukhtar

Nicholas Mukhtar has achieved a place for himself in the world of business and management consulting. He developed his management and entrepreneurship skills at a very young age. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences in 2012, followed by a MD in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in 2016.

In 2013, a year after he completed his graduation, he founded an organization named ‘Healthy Detroit' to develop a culture of preventive health in Detroit, Michigan, by implementing the National Prevention Strategy. He successfully undertook the role of founder and CEO of this organization for nearly five years.

Nicholas Mukhtar also established Healthy Communities LLC, a company that worked with public health agencies, corporations, non-profits, and municipalities to build strong, healthy communities.

He has also been the principal of ‘The Mukhtar Group’ LLC for nearly a decade. Mukhtar’s main focus and core competency lie in business management. Presently, he is a senior business management consultant at Tera in Florida, where he works with CEOs, MDs, business owners, and others. He helps clients accelerate their digital transformation.

       Appointed as a board member at St. Mary Mercy Livonia, the home of Trinity Health System, in 2018.
